Developer preview status
Tripwire Inspect is pre-release software provided for evaluation, testing and feedback. Features, rules, interfaces and availability may change. The preview may contain defects.
Permitted use
You may download and use the preview for lawful personal, educational and internal evaluation purposes. You are responsible for the content you choose to scan and for complying with laws, workplace policies and third-party rights.
You may not use Tripwire to gain unauthorized access, disrupt systems, evade security controls, distribute malware or misrepresent its findings as independent certification.
No security guarantee
Tripwire detects known heuristic signals. It does not prove that content is safe, malicious or suitable for an autonomous agent. It may miss attacks and may flag benign text.
You remain responsible for security decisions, backups, access controls, human review and the actions of any agent or software that consumes scanned content. Review the threat model before relying on a result.
Privacy
The current extension processes scanned content locally and makes no network requests. Temporary per-tab results are stored in Chrome session storage. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Ownership and feedback
Tripwire, its source code, design, brand and documentation remain the property of Kuba Opoczka and applicable licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership.
If you send feedback, you permit it to be used to improve Tripwire without an obligation to compensate you or keep the feedback confidential.
Availability and changes
The preview is provided as available, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Access may be changed, suspended or discontinued. Updated terms will be published on this page before a material commercial release.
These concise preview terms are product documentation, not a substitute for legal advice. Commercial launch terms should be reviewed by qualified counsel.
Paid review services
The agent injection-surface review described on the product page is an invitation to discuss a separately scoped professional service. No engagement starts from visiting the site or sending an enquiry.
Scope, access, deliverables, timing, fees, confidentiality, data handling and any delivery guarantee must be agreed in writing before work starts. These preview terms do not replace that written agreement.
